On this particular evening there was limited cloud cover and the sky was bright. It didn’t make too much of a difference as my location was shaded with a thick canopy and a ridge to my West, protecting me from the bright light of the setting sun. I continued to photograph the stream until sunset when my position became relatively dark. This required a longer shutter speed, which softened the water in my final image.
